How to Get a Quote

Open up any of the dLook category pages via our home page category links or by entering a search word, area or distance. You may then refine the area of interest for products or services on the Category Page by entering more details in the search system top Search Bar. To get closer vendors you can enter your postcode/suburb in the Where box and then where you wish to seek quotes from in the How Far search radius box. Thus if you were seeking services or products within a city or town, select an approximate radial distance, if over 200Km then select State and Interstate select National.

Staying on the category page in the top left corner of each of the shortlisted results is a tick box. Just select one or more of the vendors (max 5) you would like to send a free quote request to and once you have selecting then press Quote Me!

Next you'll see "Request Free Quote" form. Here you will see a list of all the vendors selected with short descriptions. At this point you can again refine your vendor selection in Step 1 but normally you should just go to Step 2 and fill out your details as requested and enter your quote request clearly written with your contact details as this will be sent off to the selected businesses via email. If you wish to receive a copy of each email sent for your records then tick the email box Email me a copy of this request. A copy will be sent to you for your own records if you tick the request box and dLook will forward the individual quote requests to each selected vendor who can now separately reply to your private free quote request.

To ensure a timely response nominate your quote expiry time to let the business know how long they have to respond.

Once you have completed your details and the description of the service or product requested you can click on the Send my Quote Request button and quote requests will be sent to each vendor selected.

QuoteMe™ is an easy to use quote system and is offered as a free service for all dLook users - however, dLook are unable to ensure that all quotation requests will be answered by the vendor.

Now every Victorian has a NURSE-ON-CALL

NURSE-ON-CALL, a phone service that provides immediate, expert health advice from a registered nurse, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Call 1300 60 60 24 for the cost of a local call from anywhere in Victoria. (Calls from mobile phones may be charged at a higher rate.)

If you think your situation is an emergency, you should always call 000 or go to an emergency department.

We’re there when you need us

NURSE-ON-CALL puts you directly in touch with a registered nurse for caring, professional health advice around the clock. You may need us when:

  • you or someone you’re caring for is feeling unwell
  • you are not sure if you should seek medical help
  • you’re away from home or situated a long way from medical help
  • you simply want advice or information about health services in your area.

What happens when I call for advice?

Step 1 – a registered nurse will answer your call and collect some basic details.

Step 2 – the nurse will then ask you a series of questions about your symptoms and other issues relating to your health.

Step 3 – at the end of the call the nurse may suggest ways you can care for yourself, advise you to contact a GP or, in the event that your condition is very serious, transfer the call to 000. Note that nurses do not provide a full diagnosis of your symptoms.

NURSE-ON-CALL uses the most up-to-date health information available, giving you and your family the highest quality advice.

All information you provide remains confidential and records are fully secure.

Health advice, and more

NURSE-ON-CALL:

  • can provide you with other health related information, such as details of health services in your area or the number of phone help lines
  • gives all Victorians the peace of mind of knowing that professional health advice is only a phone call away, any time of the day or night
  • provides access to interpreting services for callers not confident with English.

The National Relay Service is available to assist callers who are hearing or speech impaired.

The Service that is provided is excellent, we have all used Dr Kelly's service of having a GP take care of us after hours - our family's age group ranges from my grandson who is 4 to their greatgrandmother who is 80. And the care that is provided from the front desk staff to the Doctor on call deserves recognition their sevice does the Gold Coast Credit. Thank you everyone.
