I recently had to find temporary accommodation and care for my Mother while my wife and I went on holiday. A friend suggested Winderemere Retirement Lodge. Although it was not cheap ($600.00) per week my Mother loved it. She said the food was fantastic, the place was nice and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
