Odourless Sewerage Systems
Our RP10 aerobic system is totally odourless. This is due to the fact that oxygenated water does not permit septic decomposition. It is the septic decomposition, or 'anaerobic' processes in other home sewerage systems that produce nasty unpleasant odours. Even the final irrigation water produced by our RP10 is completely odourless.
Greywater Systems
Greywater is the waste water from the kitchen, laundry, bath, shower and hand basins.
Greywater is contaminated with organic materials, pathogens, bacteria and the chemical cleaning products we use. However, handled appropriately greywater can be safely reused to water lawns and gardens.
The nutrients in the cleaning products are readily absorbed by the vegetation being watered. The pathogens are digested by naturally occurring organisms in the soil such as bacteria and worms in the garden irrigation areas.
The average Australian uses 138 litres of water (not including pit-stops) PER DAY! So when you add up how many people live in your house that is a substantial volume of water you could be (should be) recycling every day.
