About Cheryl Bridgart Artist
Cheryl is a multifaceted free thinking artist, she draws, paints but is internationally recognized master of the art form of Fine Art Freehand Machine Embroidery and her museum quality Art to Wear clothes. Cheryl uses the needle and thread much as an artist would use a pencil. A labour intensive technique, it is immediate and spontaneous but leaves little room for error. Cheryl honors a challenge that she set that she would not use aids, any computers, cameras, projectors or printers. She has exhibited, taught and has works in collections in UK, USA, Japan, Switzerland, Greece, Vietnam, Russia, NZ and throughout Australasia. Cheryl’s Studio gallery is in Carrington St Adelaide 5000, open by appointment.
