Melbourne's former Royal Mint building is now a cornucopia of Hellenic art, history and culture. Home to the Hellenic Museum, an art and history museum supporting arts, film, and visual performance, visitors can explore collections spanning 8,000 years of Greek history, from Neolithic treasures to newly commissioned contemporary art. The Hellenic Museum also hosts innovative programs, exhibitions and events throughout the year, from the popular Summer Cinema program, to theatre, live music, and lectures.
