Alysha’s Army
Inspired by an amazing woman who impacted the lives of many, Alysha's Army was formed in 2019 as family and friends rallied around Alysha as her fight with Gladys, her brain tumour came to an end.
We now carry on in her name to raise awareness and vital funds for research into Brain Cancer so that other families don't have to lose their loved ones.

10 Feb 2024Join Alysha’s Army at Waverley Softball Association on Saturday 24th February to raise awareness and funds in support of Cure Brain Cancer Foundation for research, clinical trials, better treatments and ultimately a cure. Alysha’s Army merchandise will be available to purchase on the day.

Alysha lost her battle to GBM in Feb 2019. After being diagnosed in late 2015 Alysha was a huge advocate for change.

Many people don't know brain cancer kills more children than any other disease in Australia. It also kills more people under 40 in Australia than any other cancer. Yet very little is known about brain cancer, its causes or how to treat it.
Walk4BrainCancer is the biggest mobilisation of the brain cancer community, taking place across Australia every year.
So please join our team or donate and help us reach our goal of $5000, you'll be helping to move us closer to a cure!
