This review is my drawn from my experience with a Summit home extension and is my personal opinion.

Charlie H is a senior designer with Summit and is a fantastic person to deal with, he is patient and calm and a real asset to Summit. Nothing is too hard.

After signing off on the building contract we progressed to having site visits by vairious people connected to the up coming renovation. Some of these people need training on how to speak to a customer.

"All care and No responsibility" was the often trumpeted mantra, and simply not good enough in my opinion. If a contractor is in my house they are responsible for damage, no if's and no buts.

Our project was to last 6 - 8 weeks, it took 6 months.

Some trades were good, some of the contractors were average at best, and others were a disaster.

Communication through the process was average.

Make sure if you do go with Summit you read the drawings very carefully, I missed a few things that were wrong (caught and rectified a lot of other weird stuff).

I would not use Summit again.
