About CleanCo Queensland
We’re Queensland’s newest publicly-owned clean energy company. When we commence trading later in 2019 we will own, operate and grow a portfolio of low and zero emission electricity generation assets and put downward pressure to increase competition in the wholesale electricity market.
Our operations will assist Queensland to achieve its 50 per cent renewable energy target by 2030 and we’ll also support creation of jobs in the renewable energy sector.
CleanCo is a new kind of energy company and once operational, we’ll be a leader in delivering a reliable clean energy supply – specifically tailored for customers’ requirements.
