Damian Mahony has over 27 years of solid experience as a social worker, specialising in working with children, adolescents and families in a variety of clinical practice settings including child and family welfare agencies, schools and child and adolescent mental health services.
He is careful to formulate an accurate assessment of what is going on for a child, young person and/or family before proceeding with any treatment. He uses a collaborative, strength-based approach in his engagement with young people and families and works to identify achievable goals with his clients.
