About National Theatre Ballet School.

One of Australia’s preeminent dance training institutions, the National Theatre Ballet School is devoted to providing exceptional dance training to students of all ages. Led by Artistic Director Damian Smith, a renowned former Principal Dancer with the San Francisco Ballet, our diverse and highly accomplished teaching faculty deliver a comprehensive dance education. The School aims to inspire a life long passion for dance. The Ballet School is located in Melbourne’s iconic National Theatre. Students will enjoy training in our heritage-listed building and performing in the 800-seat professional theatre.
