Over the 2016 WA Day long weekend my family & I visited with the owners, Annette & Noel Cochrane, of Fairbury Farm Chianina Stud. Their knowledge, passion & desire to bring attention to the Chianina cattle is infectious. The Chianina are a beautiful & surprisingly large breed, rich in history, & produce a world renown quality of beef. Few people in WA know about the Chianina, fewer still have tasted their meat. We've become one of the fortunate few. The meat is lean, full of flavour, tender & succulent.
