About Oxart Pottery HQ

Oxart Pottery is a working pottery studio and Gallery/shop. Meet potter Ian 'Ox' McColl who has has a BA Ceramics but also has over 35 years experience in throwing and firing. The site is an old 1970's Roadhouse that was built by local quarry owners and shows off an extensive range of stone both externally and inside the shop. It is becoming known as a creative hub and is developing into a wonderful site with a friendly and creative vibe. Come in and say hello or participate in one of the many classes that are held in this working studio! *There are also two annual FOO (Friends of Oxart) Markets held on site in early May and late November where you are spoiled for choice to purchase many handmade creations directly from the makers!
