Deborah Thomas and Craig Griffiths are the consultants at River Life.

Deborah has a PhD in Ecology, B.Sc. (Hons) (Environmental Science), membership of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand, and more than 10 years experience in aquatic ecology.

As principle consultant, she will ensure your job is done to your satisfaction.

Associate consultant Craig Griffiths has a B.A. and 10 years experience in local government planning in both regional and urban areas, including native vegetation assessments and VCAT experience.

River Life Consulting provides ecological assessments of waterways and wetlands including aquatic macroinvertebrate surveys.

Deb has expertise in aquatic macroinvertebrate ecology and taxonomy, freshwater algae, water quality,  biological assessment of rivers, streams and wetlands, and knowledge of ANZECC guidelines in relation to water quality and sediment contaminants.

She has extensive experience with State Pollution Protection Policies (SEPPs) (Waters of Victoria) in relation to aquatic macroinvertebrates and water quality
