I found Aughtersons to be extremely helpful not only in advising me of which insurance policies I needed but recently when I had a claim they made sure everything went through quickly and with no fuss. A big difference to the last insurance brokers I dealt with.
When my wife broken down on the side of the road and phoned AVWG for help they did not help her in any way , and in fact was on hold for a lenghty amount of time , and after waiting forever , she received no help at all and in fact was spoken to quite rudely , and when my wife explained that the vehcile was broken down on the side of the road with my 4 kids , they still were still not willing to help , even before a mechanic could find out what the problem was , so we called a breakdown mechanic we paid the cost of the starter motor , and still cannot get any refund for the starter motor even though my book says it is covered , has anyone else had similar type of dealings with this warranty company ?
I have had 2 claims with this company and found the claims department very pleasant and helpful on both occations.
After discovering a problem with my vehicle i contacted the warranty company and they refered me straight away to their autherised repairer Startek in Dandenong who were also very friendly and helpful. After dropping my car off in the morning, i was contacted that afternoon by a claims consultant who advised me the claim had been approved and they went through the scope of coverage with me. They were more than happy to answer all my queries and concerns and took the time to explained everything to me. Overall, a possitive experiance on both occasions.
