Helen was the most amazing person to work with! She made my dress pattern from a catwalk image i loved and then we worked together to make the changes to suit my body. It was a lovely experience to be able to go to her home and feel comfortable to sit and talk through changes and new ideas with someone who was so experienced and could see my vision. Not only is Helen an experienced dressmaker but she is so easy to get along with,i will miss visiting her!

Helen helped me design my wedding dress. She was very thorough, passionate and patient.Her workmanship is of a very high standard. The result was absoluetly amazing. I loved my dress and got many compliments. I will definetly reccommend Helen!

I contacted Helen two months before my wedding day. Helen made my entire dress from scratch in two months from some ideas I had. Her knowledge, creativity and flair for dressmaking was obvious so I was extremely confident in her abilities throughout the entire process. The dress fits perfectly and the finished product was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Helen listened to exactly what I wanted and created the dress of my dreams.

I have owned a Burberry overcoat for many years which, although perfect in every other way, was beginning to look a little shabby through wear and continual dry cleaning. Jeffrey has dyed the coat dark blue (the original colour). He has done an excellent job, the coat looks very fresh and he has given it an extended life which I believe will allow me to enjoy wearing the coat for many more years. I am happy to highly recommend his services.

Liz and Dennise are great the rest of the staff are very helpful their knowledge and friendly service makes you want to return again and again and I have bought my machines from them now for 20 years.

I just love this place.. The service is fantastic and the range is second to none. Buttonmania still use button making machines that were used 100 years ago with such skill that they produce covered buttons that will stand the test of time. It's rare to find such an old fasioned business in a city such as Melbourne.
