We were moving interstate & were renting out our house. We wanted someone to look after our pool on a regular basis. We weren't sure who to use & Steve was recommended by a friend of ours. We couldn't be happier. We get regular reports & peace of mind knowing that when we eventually come back our pool will be in good working order.

We think Dependable Pool Care is a GREAT company!!!! Steve came out to see me within 24hrs. We had a very GREEN swampy looking pool & was having trouble with the pump. when Steve came out to actually see my pool. He was able to do a Water Analysis onsite & fix our pump problem. He work out a plan of attack & within 4 days my pool was returned to a clear sparkling pool.

Steve came to our notice when seeing the results of our daughters pool restoration after a devastating flood. Since then we have used his services and our pool has never looked so good. Definitely recommend Dependable Pool Care to anyone. Madeline & Warren

My daughter has attended swimming lessons at Clem Jones for the last year since she was 6 months old. The lessons are very well organised and in a great facility - the staff are nice too. There are good options with class times as well.

Not a good experience at all. Staff incompetent and owner didn't want to know us when we wanted to talk about issues we had at the centre - very unsatisfied.

In our experience Aquastars Hillsborough Rd Warners Bay is run by inflexible management. Their employees are equally unpleasant to deal with. We have two toddlers enrolled there, having pre-paid for a block of lessons for both. We have been extremely dissatisfied with their service and value. The beginner level class, where the parent swims with the child seemed to run ok. However, upon advancing to the next level, in which the parent is not welcome in the pool, our toddler son quickly lost the small amount of confidence and interest he had gained. He would be left unattended for blocks of up to 12 mins of a 30-minute lesson. We had purchased a block of lessons in advance and when we asked the manager to permit us to pay to upgrade to private lessons so that our distressed child could build up more confidence, he flatly refused, stating "it would be best if you completed what you already bought first". The manager and his front desk staff are intimidating and condescending - clearly i will not be able to use the remaining $50 worth of paid-up lessons for my toddler until he has re-gained some water-confidence.

Absolute Pools abandoned our Job half finished. James Bobbin kept demanding progress paymants but there was no progress. After buying the pool and paying for applications the quote from absolute was $43,000 to install pool, build a 17sqm retaining wall and lay 180sqm concrete. Before any work was done They asked for $15,000 for equipment. a week later he asked for $4000 for wages a further week later and just on christmas he asked for another $4000. He said he would be back to finish the job on the 5th Jan. I could not contact him until the 17th. he showed up on the 17th to prepare for concrete and demanded another $6000. I initially refused but he assured me that if that was paid the job would be completed by the weeks end. I gave him the cheque that he immediately took to the bank for a fast clearance. Then he demanded another $9000 to lay the concrete. I flatly refused as the site looked like a war zone and I had already given him too much money for what had been done. Thats when he texed me and told me he was not coming back. Even when I called and offered to pay the concrete company direct he told me he was not coming back because he did not trust me. I had no choice but to get new contractors in to finish the work.

20 months ago my concrete pool surface was flaking and cutting out feet, I paid this man to repair the surface of the pool repaint and put non slip paint on the stairs. The end result was just as bad as the old painted surface. I have holes and flakes in the surface that cut out feet and he forgot to put non slip paint on the stairs. Of course he said he would come back to fix it but after many phone calls and messages left (not replied to) he has not come back to fix it.

Discovered this centre tucked away behind a house .. amazing. Two pools, very family oriented. Lovely staff and great swimming lessons for all ages. Don't let the lack of parking put you off or the fact that it's a suburban business ... these people know swimming and look after everyone who visits.
