“We purchased a unit off the plan from Paul which was our biggest mistake. The entire journey was unpleasant and the end result was less than satisfactory. We found him to vet extremely rude and unapproachable. There were (and still are) numerous defects and problems. Paul does not answer our calls or return our emails and hasn’t honoured the builders warranty. We have had to appoint other trades to fix his poor workmanship which has cost us a great deal financially and emotionally”

“Won’t recommend. Paul did not complete the job he committed to and went missing. He started the job without signing a contract. Did 1/3rds of the job and went missing as soon as I paid him for jobs completed. This delayed our kitchen completion work with Zesta Kitchens. Also, we had to run pillar to post to organise trades for all the jobs Paul committed to do but didn’t complete. In the process, we ended up paying more for trades than what was initially quoted by zesta kitchens. ”

“We employed David Haynes to do our ensuite.
Not only were there significant issues with the quality of workmanship, rough/chipped tiling, non square walls, poor plastering, underfloor heating incorrectly laid, door jams narrower than walls, wrong tile adhesive in shower tray resulting in moving tiles. The advice and trades he recommended were also shockingly bad. No less than 6 registered builders have commented on the dodgy job he did.”

“Fergus Holt from Holt Developments has done many jobs for us over the last few years, two being quite major. We had extensive white ant damage to the rear of our weatherboard house. The boards were an old size but Fergus was able to source them and do a great job with all the repairs. He also did an extension to make our garage into a grannie flat, adding a kitchen and bathroom. Both jobs were done in a very professional way. We can strongly recommend him to do excellent work.”

“my has house with major safety defects. When challenged (09/15) by building inspector Andy Boaden (climate build) they threatened bankruptcy. 35 building defects, complaints with building commission. Shame on you Andy Boaden Climate Build!”

You will be left thousands of dollars out of pocket with an unfinished project, and then he will run and hide. My poor friends Mr and Mrs Street are extremely disappointed in their- what was once to be dream home. Now having the expensive and time consuming experience of going to the Building Commissioner and court. I do have documented evidence.”
