About Yarra Valley Berkshires - Home of the Gin Pig

We operate a small free range Berkshire pig enterprise across three locations in the Yarra Valley. Our ultimate aim while remaining a small operation is to produce some of the best pork in Australia. With the help of our friends at Four Pillars Gin we created what is now famous as the Gin Pig. We add the spent gin botanicals to the feed of our pigs.... The result is an infused pork with the combined flavours of juniper, coriander, cardamom, star anise, lavender, lemon myrtle, occasionally some turmeric and ginger.
