About Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters
Formerly located at Bob’s Farm, now at brand new location in Anna Bay. Irukandji is an Interactive aquarium featuring a variety of sharks and rays that guests can feed and pet and snorkel in the outdoor natural habitat lagoons.
The mission is to educate visitors on ocean conservation and provide an exciting insight into the world of sharks and rays whilst squashing fears and growing intrigue.
Ocean conservation is of the utmost importance as we are losing species at an alarming rate. Irukandji is the home of Sea Shelter the non-profit and together they have been rescuing rehabilitating and releasing marine life for 5 years.
