About Kerry Rushton Art
Four years ago, I asked myself some tough questions. That questioning led to making ART. With foundational training in REALISM, I longed to create the OPPOSITE and for me, that is abstract expressionism. ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM art making is a source of freedom that has become essential for my connection with myself. To commit to the process of making art and selling it, I must receive and cherish the freedom it brings me and accept the journey, sacrifices, and gifts the process takes me on. The ONLY way I can give it to you (sell it to you) is to know that I have put my heart into it. Each piece I create is a one-off original painting following my intuition from the beginning.
