About Amanda Donohue Prints
As a printmaker with twenty years experience and a life-time love of fabrics I try to instil these passions in my art classes in linocut, etching, fabric printing and eco dyeing.
I enjoy the immediacy of linocut relief printing, the beauty of natural colours in eco dyeing and the alchemy of etching.
There are many years of tradition behind these art forms which I try to continue, while taking the time to create items which are hands on and tactile.
My studio is based in Lake Macquarie from where I deliver online classes in a variety of mediums. I also travel regularly through NSW to deliver workshops in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, the Central Coast, Port Stephens, Maitland, Cessnock and Dubbo.
