About Leonie Walton Art
writer/illustrator artist: I am a writer/illustrator of children's books and painter of all subjects and landscapes in oils. After training for five years at the Academie de Port Royal in Paris, the Professors of the Academy showed me how much you don't see in a photograph and helped me achieve much more depth and expression in my work. After completing the Camino de Santiago in 2017, my connection with nature led me to producing a series of paintings representing the culture of Galicia, Spain. I then exhibited these paintings in Santiago de Compostela in 2018.
