About Blue House Porcelain
Blue House Porcelain is a ceramic studio based in a 50s blue house with a terracotta roof in the leafy Brisbane suburb of Bardon. Taking inspiration from the surrounding environment, Blue House specialises in decorative tableware made entirely by hand. From teacups and saucers, to bowls and platters, each piece is thoughtfully designed to be both functional and beautiful.
Blue House is owned and run by artist, Simon Suckling. Simon throws works on the potter’s wheel using the finest Australian porcelain clay, before hand decorating and finishing with the Blue House signature 12 karat gold lustre.
