I organized a private tour with Betty Bird in July 2021, based on her Extended Military History Tour of Darwin and Coomalie Creek airfield, where my father was based during WW11. From initial contact through to the tour day, Betty was reliable, informative and accommodating. Betty took us to several important sites in Darwin, then drove us to the Coomalie Creek airfield site, where we learned lot more about the military history of Darwin in WW2 in a very personal and moving way. Betty is very knowledgeable and it was a very rich and rewarding day.
