About Kosciuszko Polish Association of Darra

Welcome to the Kosciuszko Polish Association of Darra. Since the late 1940's Darra and its surrounding suburbs welcomed migrants from Poland and other war torn parts of Europe. The migrants joined wholeheartedly into the Australian culture and new way of life but of course still wanted some ties to the old country. The Polish Club as it was commonly known was the centre for get togethers for generations of locals. Today the club offers Polish meals every Friday from 3pm to 7pm. The hall is also available for hire.
