Contacted the HSU today and was extremely disappointed after speaking with a HSU member consultant. They wouldn’t provide any basic information regarding my pay entitlements because I wasn’t currently part of the union. Then stated “why would I bother to help you if your aren’t even a union member”. Was extremely rude and talked down to me. I was considering joining- but after this experience today ensured I would not be joining in the future.
