Ive purchased a lot of so called performance optima batteries for my race car, boat and road car. The failure rate of the batteries is significant (at 50% failure from 10 batteries; 3 red, 3 blue, 4 yellow) and the company has not honored any commitment to replace or compensate defective manufacturing. Mary Jo in their customer service dep would not even offer to test their batteries or try to recover charging in the batteries at their local store. It's clear they know about the defective batteries and have taken the policy to not offer any support. Don't buy optima. They are pushing a defective and inferior product at a premium price.
