I had to get a bank cheque last week. The process was reasonably smooth. Generally I check the ratings of business's I soon will visit. So I noticed the Google rating of Bunbury ANZ Branch, which then was 1.9 stars, and no now doubt boosted by my above 4 stars. A 1.9 rating is probably the worst I have seen, worse than say Telstra, the ATO and behind other Bunbury bank branches. I mentioned this to my helpful bank person but was met with polite, bore indifference.
OK, so why would I bother. I have been a loyal customer and advocate of ANZ for many decades so I find this low rating frustrating. The other branches that have been used by me and my family for business and personal banking over the decades, Balcatta, Claremont, Narrogin, Fremantle and the now closed, Australind branch have been all amazingly helpful and through thick and thin. Bunbury's rating is very disappointing and letting down a great institution.
