Genuinely the most useless bank I think I’ve ever dealt with. Extremely dismissive, unorganised and uninterested. Had nothing but issues and delays since signing up for our home loan through them. At first they blamed the people above them but after dealing with this branch for a while now and still having more and more issues - it can’t all be the people aboves fault and if it is - I would just avoid westpac altogether. Otherwise, just avoid this branch. They appear to care and as if they’re fixing issues then another one comes up. 1st they missed documents for our loan causing us to take time off work to fix the issue. Then they didn’t unlock the account so our settlement couldn’t process causing us to take another day off work to chase it all up. We’re still waiting on bank cards from the start of November. You try and call & nobody answers or responds then when they actually do, nobody really has a clue what’s going on.
Just save yourself the hassle & go somewhere else, possibly another branch possibly another bank altogether.
