One of the best beaches in Perth, and Perth is blessed with beautiful beaches. Walking distance from grant street train station, doesn't get as congested with people as cottesloe main beach does, plenty of room to make yourself comfortable on the sand, walking distance to shops for drinks, both non alcoholic and otherwise, close to food expensive...or expensive????. So byo BBQ as there are plenty of bbqs supplied by the cottesloe council to cook up your sausages and burgers, benches and shaded topped areas a plenty..just bring your swimmers, something to change into if you want to watch the sun set with a drink at one of the local pubs or restaurants. A must do if in Perth for holiday, A must see and do if you live here and have never been....just follow the west coast road and you'll find it.
