Lady Douglas is an iconic, handsome, stable riverboat. She has successfully been taking Port Douglas visitors on tours of the Dickson Inlet since 1989.

On board we have comfortable, covered seating, a licensed bar and galley, toilet, and room to stand and move around during your cruise. She is an ideal nature viewing platform with protection from the elements. She has wheelchair and pram access and is suitable for supervised children of all ages.

Friday Night Live Music Cruise

Friday Night Live Music Cruise runs in peak season (June-Nov). Enjoy local, live acoustic tunes as you meander along the waterfront, soaking up the night lights and ambiance of the waterfront and the township. A complimentary beverage, fresh local prawns and nibbles are included. This is a great social option for groups or parties.

Weddings

Port Douglas is a perfect place for a romantic wedding – especially at St Mary’s by the Sea or under the palms by the waterfront in Ana Park. Both are adjacent to the historic sugar wharf and right next to the public wharf. Lady Douglas can collect passengers from the public wharf, providing an enjoyable river cruise with beverages and nibbles, then transfer guests to reception venues such as the sugar wharf or waterfront or marina restaurants. Drinks can be provided and catering or live music can be arranged if necessary.

Parties

Lady Douglas is fully licensed and can cater for both day and night-time events. A music system is on board or live music can be arranged. We've had memorable parties on board ranging from children’s birthday parties croc-spotting in the morning, to hens or bucks nights, corporate events and company Christmas parties.
