Taken in 1970, long before the area was landscaped into a park area.
The old river Gum Tree was on its last legs, but still used as a favourite perch for all manner of birds from Galahs to Spoonbills. Horses would be kept on the river banks and I would catch, frogs, Yabbies and Carp in the river.
