Ill admit i do not google review alot. It would have to take something inexplicably good or bad for me to go to the effort. This is the latter. I arrived in ningaloo visitors centre, exmouth on sunday at 1pm. The staff there told me to wait in the centre and the driver would come and collect me. As the departure time came and went i got a touch nervous, so asked the staff, both they and i tried to ring the offices but apparently they dont answer the phones at 1pm as their services were operating. Sent them an email but no reply to that either. When their phones did open on 2 hours later, they informed me that the driver came and grabbed his itinerary and left again. Honestly wouldve thought the 220 dollar ticket wouldve promted a bit of an inquiry.
Anyway these mistakes do happen when travelling (probably easier to rectify them when you can contact the business youre dealing with) so i went about emailing the company the written explanation that the staff at the visitors centre had sent me to give. Basically i had to trade email essays, to find out they wouldnt be refunding me, they accused me of not actually being there, and talked about the skyrocketing costs of having someone there to answer phones while their services were running (this was at 1pm on a sunday incidentally).
Im not usually a vengeful person, but after this experience, if i can just get 2 people to avoid buying tickets with these guys, ill die a happy man.
Fly qantas from exmouth or broome for a measly 40 dollars more, get a snack, free booze on the 2 hour flight (as opposed to a 14 hour coach) and get the peace of mind that an unreachable company wont leave you without a trace in a visitors centre for 3 hours after taking 220 dollars of your money
