My friends and I stopped by Hill River Honey on ANZAC Day public holiday and were delighted that Peter was open. We had such a great experience! Peter showed us some of his hives, talked us through the honey being produce currently, local wildflower species and his process for collecting the honey and making mead. As someone who has an avid interest in beekeeping it was way more than I could have hoped for! Not only is the honey and mead delicious, but the wealth of knowledge being shared by Peter was really appreciated. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you stop by!
