We have been travelling in WA for 3 months, 4 weeks with a motorhome of Apollo. Our trip was great, only (very) negative experience was Apollo. We booked everything: max 3 years old, all extras. At pick up you nearly get forced to prepay fuel and cleaning - we also fell into the trap. Paid over 7000Aud in total for a Deluxe 6 Berth. Fridge did not work, ac didn’t work, handbrake did not work, awning was broken, completely run down vehicle (just a bit less than 3 years old), it was so loud-impossible to drive more than 90km/h, the secomd day the side door opened while driving (we had kids inside, lock was broken!!!), booster seat was non conform on a police control, etc etc. All this can only be noticed, when you are driving, no way to see it at collection. Vehicle was not checked before hand out to us. We lost about 3 days with repair, had to change our route, had to call about 3 times road assistance. Did run the fridge for 14 days with ice like backbackers until we went on our initiative to a fridge dealer (that fixed it for 20 Dollars). Collection in Perth took us about 5 hours. After many attempts of complain we got a refund of 800 Aud. It is a joke. Everybody we met and still meet made bad experiences with Apollo. Incredible that they are still allowed to make business.Our advice: forget Apollo, forget also Britz, same problems. Take „Let’s go“, all travelers we met were happy with that. Dear Apollo, I am very transparent - my reservation was SALT32. I am a standard Apollo customer that booked Apollo 3 times: the first, the last and the only time!
