About Wide Bay Getaway
Steve 'Macca' & Nickey have been living in the Fraser Coast and surrounds for just under 20 years. They finally made the move to Maryborough in 2018 and fell for the historic, rustic and laid back charm the area had to offer. One weekend while Macca was on one of his many 'drives', he discovered 506 Bidwill Road. Literally a chuck of land with trees everywhere, Nickey and their two daughters thought he'd actually lost his mind when he said he was going to create a Bush Camp Getaway. Before anyone could say anything, he had his plans in motion! The property was purchased, the ideas were flowing and so Wide Bay Getaway began turning into a reality.
