About The 40 Acres
The 40 acres is right next door to our other property which houses Hawkesbury River Rural Campground and Courangra Cottage/ Hawkesbury River Farm. We will be opening The 40 acres as a campground hopefully by the end of the year but or guests from the campsite, cottage or farm stay take advantage of what this hidden gem has to offer. There is an amazingly beautiful waterfall high up in the gorge with a little refreshing dip pool at the base. The walk/climb is relatively easy depending on your fitness of course but well worth a conservative 20 minute walk of any ones time. The beauty of the canopy the tress provide reminds me of the rainforest I visited in far North Queensland and on a hot summers day the reduction in temperature is golden.
