About Carbean Camping and Farmstay
CARBEAN is a working sheep property 75km South West of Warwick on the Southern Darling Downs. Just 2.5 hours drive from Brisbane. Turn off the Cunningham Highway near Karara onto Carbean Road.
The property was established under selection in 1897 by my Grandfather and his home, a slab hut was built in 1897.
Other early buildings are still standing today. CARBEAN has been run as a sheep for wool production property ever since in the same family ownership, and in 1998 a fish farm was established.
Lyndon ("Sandy") and his wife Lyle, third generation owners of this beautiful property now invite guests to come, stay and enjoy the unique beauty, nature and wildlife this area has to offer.
