I'm Lisa and we hope you love our candles as much as we love making them. The Brovelly name is a mix of our hometowns as youths living and loving Bronte and Clovelly - hence, Brovelly.
I have always loved bright colours, particularly when creating and making new things. In my 20s I spent time making and successfully selling jewellery. I have also tinkered with ceramics, pottery and painting. This love of hand making concrete pots and hand painting pots developed from a shear lack of being able to find a pot that suited my bright vibrant taste, back in 2018. That lead me to creating and designing my own!
Initially I really wanted to create large concrete pots, however they became too heavy. I sourced lightweight Terracotta pots to hand paint and I decided to handmake smaller concrete pots for succulents.
I even propagate my own succulent plants and lovingly grow them in my yard to make sure they look great and are easy to grow. I also love growing ferns, cacti, sterilizes and fiddle leaf.
So there you have the beginnings of all things Brovelly.
I have no doubt there will be more! I'm always coming up with new ideas, creations and styles.
