Our VW Crafter motorhome broke down at Alice Springs and the earliest they would look at it was 12 days. They refused to diagnose the problem to determine if spare parts were required. A common part was ordered to have on hand but wasn't needed.
I was told it was a blown fuse ($.80) and charged $258. Obviously not the problem as that same fuse blew again shortly after leaving the dealership. We returned to Suttons and was told to go to an auto electrician. First one was too busy and next one would mean another 2 week wait.
The fuse is obviously not the problem as that same fuse needed replacing 35 times on our 3 day dash back to Tassie. During that very stressful drive we learnt an Amarok owner had to wait 17 days for service at this dealership and their problem wasn't resolved either.
My issue is that a VW dealership would/should ensure VW vehicles are professionally and thoroughly dealt with but after waiting 12 days and incurring considerable cost this was not the case. I cannot recommend Sutton VW.
