This location charges per km, regardless of your corporate plans or other promotions. This sucks in itself, but they also overcharge the kms used! I took out the car with around 30 km on the clock and returned it with around 300. Got charged for 600 km!!! If you count in fuel costs, that's like AUD 250 for a normal rental day!
I am a Hertz Gold Plus member and rent through Hertz a lot. this is the first time something like this happened to me. Needless to say, I already reported this to Hertz corporate and I'm pretty sure they'll sort it out, but they can take up to two weeks to respond.
Be very careful with paperwork they hand you and make sure to witness them recording in/out kms accurately, especially if renting for longer terms, otherwise they'll shamelessly overcharge you hundreds of dollars.
The only positive about this location is that the fleet they have has just been updated to brand new cars.
Booked a car for 9am, it was 10:15am before they had a car ready for me - great start. They then accused me of damaging their car upon return, thankfully I took before and after photos. Now they are 'reviewing' it again because the supposed damage is so small it can't be seen in photos....
