We were on a cruise recently, with a port day in Adelaide, and wanted to hire a car for the day. The cruise ship terminal is quite a distance from Adelaide itself, which proved to be a bit of a problem. Weeks prior to our departure we rang the 'big 3' car rental companies in Adelaide, who were totally unhelpful and uninterested. We then rang Access, and spoke with Patty, who was extremely helpful in all regards. She explained that there was a train station right across from the cruise terminal, and a train station near Access at West Hindmarsh. (We ended up getting a taxi, which cost less than $50.) Patty also offered that if we could return the vehicle half an hour before their closing time, that she would drive us back to the cruise ship! We were so appreciative of this. Great and friendly service all round! Also the cost was less than the 'big 3'. I would highly recommend Access Rent A Car.
Lovely car, beautiful people Michael and Patty, very professional service. Even though they are always busy and cars are not available most of the time, they will try to accommodate to your need as best as they can.
I have used their service for the 2nd time now, didn't fail me then, definitely not now.
