I took my Accord Euro here with intentions of getting gas. Unfortunately, my compressor had ceased and I was up for big $.
I came in very skeptical as I've been ripped by mechanics before, however now I know much more and I am able to pick a fraud from a good honest mechanic (I like to think).
Anyway, I came back later in the day to AHG on Manning road, where Eddy greeted me kindly and proceeded to show me my car. My compressor that ceased and shed metal filings through the system, which you can imagine would be a problem if you don't know much about cars. Anyway, they quoted me, (which I found to be very reasonable) and showed me my original parts, with a comprehensive explanation (and proof) of what happened. Given the work, they stood to make very little given the price of the parts.
They needed to keep the car for a few days, so they gave me a loan car. When I got back, they refused money for fuel I used on the loan and gave me my Accord 100% operational. Alvin (If that's spelt correctly) was polite and they even parked my car closer to me. Finally they gave my the price some $300 cheaper than the quote, using good parts with a professional and very high quality job. Eddy, who I believe was the acting manager and mechanic, did a lot of shopping around to get me high quality parts for a good price.
I have never seen service like this from a mechanic, I'd drive an extra half hour just for these guys ????
