About The Old School - Caravan Park
Situated on the old Merriwagga Public School site (established 1926) in a quiet area well away from the highway, our caravan park still retains much of its past history and charm. The schoolhouse still has the old original blackboard with the original duster. Even the old school bubblers remain.
The museum in the Old Hut is a step back in time and well worth a visit. There is also old farm equipment on display throughout the park. (The park is not suitable for children for safety reasons.)
Merriwagga is also home to the Black Stump Hotel, our local friendly pub and renown for having the highest bar of any pub in Australia.
