In 2016 when I went there I wanted to get the cheapest price for a product that I had been quoted from another place. The owner decided to beat the price reluctantly and we bought laminate flooring I absolutely loved and premium carpet. I was told they would have the products available for install when required in about 11 months. I called a month before and asked if they had the stock ready to go or if they needed to order it to be there in time. The guy on the phone was not the owner just a sales guy but he assured me that if they said it would be ready it would. Then I called again about a week or two later to get install date and low and behold the owner said he did not have it in stock and ordering it could take up to two months. He was sounding very dodgy and unhelpful and now I had days to run around Adelaide trying to find products that suited my needs at the same price. We ended up going to with Solomons flooring but I was not 100% happy with the colour or style of the laminate or the the carpet. Those dodgy owners had realised they were not going to make any money and just decided to screw us at the 11th hour. We had only paid a small deposit of 350 dollars and getting that back was a nightmare. The wife owner dealt with the accounts and was making excuses about banks and this or that. I was like here is our account number go to the bank and just deposit the money. After a week I had to threaten legal action and going to consumer affairs before she deposited our refund. Avoid these charlatans!
One of the best flooring places I visited. Great service, knowledgeable manager (Gerry), quality products and excellent price. I would highly recommend Carpet Selection Centre to anyone who was looking to get flooring done. I got my stairs done and they looked amazing. Photo attached. You won't be disappointed.
