About Andersons Creek Cemetery
First opened in 1858, Andersons Creek Cemetery is one of Victoria’s oldest cemeteries. Historically, Andersons Creek was a monumental cemetery with pioneer graves for early miners in the Warrandyte area.
From the late 1970s onwards, it rapidly expanded due to the closure of Templestowe Cemetery, transforming into a lawn cemetery with a bushland theme. It currently offers limited children’s lawn graves, as well as commemoration and memorialisation for cremated remains.
