About TLC for Kids
Since 1998, TLC for Kids has given relief to sick children and their families during stressful and traumatic situations.
With no eligibility criteria, waitlists or restrictions on service access, we are a safety net for our community’s most vulnerable.
We give practical and emotional support almost a million times each year.
As a part of the extended support network for sick children, we provide collaborative care through our Rapid TLC and Distraction Box programs, or TLC Ambulance and our Tap 2 Distract App.
Tim Conolan AM founded the charity when he saw children falling through the gaps of existing services. Tim has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia and won 2014 Australian of the Year Local Hero for his tireless work.
