About Goodstart Early Learning Clayfield
Goodstart Early Learning Clayfield was constructed in 1986. The owner/operator at the time was inspired by his own upbringing and designed the centre to reflect this. It is modelled on the "Queenslander" style houses in the area. This is to assist with making the children feel like they are being cared for in a more home-like environment.
The owner at the time had many memories of playing in the local "Kalinga" park and the centre also features a cave for playing hide and seek and a little man-made creek down the side of the centre, which recycles the water used to help embed sustainable practices.
