I have recently moved to the area and had the best doctor in Middleton. Now, I’m considering driving an hour to still see him after the appalling doctors I’ve seen at Aberfoyle Park Family Practice. Dr Sherwani is rude and condescending and makes you feel like a kid she’s scolding. All of them, foreign, with no manners. I’ve never had a good experience with Indian/Sri Lankan doctors (or wherever they’re from). We need more Australian born doctors who understand how to treat people with respect. These just seem to be so rude. They are just there to refer or write a script. Dr Sareen didn’t even address things I needed from him, such as filling out a form or giving me a regular blood test form that I always get every 3 months. Hopeless. They don’t want to hear anything. As someone who has multiple conditions, I need a GP I can ask questions of and one that treats me holistically and interested in regular tests to see if anything has progressed badly. My previous doctor did that and more. He would even do research on my conditions out of hours and call me personally when he needed to. This medical practice is disappointing. None of the doctors I’ve seen are good. I don’t know where I will go now.
