Dr Kan is an extremely competent doctor. I have gone to see him for a long long time. He is quirky but can put you at ease. For a period I moved out of the area and went to a different dr who could not for the life of me figure out my health issues. I went back to dr kan and he provided me with a great deal of support for my health issues that many other drs could not diagnose or pick up. I trust my family with him. However, that being said, his receptionist Vicky is quite eccentric and you have to just take her with a pinch of salt. If you can get over that and get used to her and just accept that, you will be fine. Dr Kan is also a surgeon and can run late if he has been called out of the clinic. He takes many at home appointments for frail elderly people who physically would have a hard time getting to the surgery, so yeah, he can run late but it’s because he has incredible work ethic and very rarely turns a patient away. The guys has work 12 hour days six days a week for at least the past 35 years I have known him so you have to cut him some slack.
